Privacy policy and rules
Updated October 7, 2026. Developer: Nikita Sergeevich Revin. This policy applies to the Chameleon mobile app.
Data stored on your device
Your name or nickname, selected photos with a painted chameleon, game results, stars and daily streak are stored on your device. The app works without an account, Firebase or an internet connection. The developer does not receive your photos, name or results.
Camera and photos
The camera opens only when you choose it. You select photos from your library. Access is optional for practice and daily challenges and is used to create your own photo games. Images are processed on your device.
Sharing and backups
The app has no advertising or third-party analytics. If you tap Share, the selected picture is sent to the app you choose; that app’s policies then apply. We do not operate a public feed or messaging service. Device backups are managed through your iOS settings.
Deleting data
Delete individual photo games from your history. Settings → Delete all data removes photos, your name, results and progress from the app. This does not delete pictures already shared with other people or system backups.
Sharing rules
Do not share photos containing nudity, violence or abusive content. Get people’s permission before sharing their faces or personal information. The app does not publish photos to a server.
