In short: Tonus keeps your data on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no servers, no ads and no tracking.
What data we process
Tonus stores your data only on your device: workout history, weight, body measurements, personal records, goals and settings. The app has no servers, accounts or cloud sync of its own, so this data never leaves your phone.
Apple Health
With your permission, Tonus reads steps, active calories, heart rate and workouts from Apple Health (the Health app) and writes workouts you complete in Tonus to it. This data is used only for app features: the Activity tab, the card on the Home tab and heart rate during workouts. It is stored only on your device, is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising or marketing. You can change access at any time in the Health app: profile picture → Apps → Tonus.
Data sharing and advertising
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties. The app contains no ads, analytics or tracking. Your data is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Notifications
If you turn on workout reminders, Tonus schedules local notifications on your device. No data is sent anywhere to do this.
Deleting your data
All data is stored locally. Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all data associated with it.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available in the app and on this page.
